Project Start & Planning
How do you start a project with Miro Productions — and what do you need to get going?
The easiest way is via our contact form or directly by email. We respond within 24 hours and discuss in a brief first call what you want to produce, what goals you have and how we move forward. Get in touch now.
No ready-made concept, no script, no prior experience with video production. All we need is a conversation about your business, your goals and your audience. We develop the rest together.
From briefing to delivery, a typical project takes two to four weeks. Social media content can be turned around faster, while a full brand film requires more lead time. For urgent projects, we are happy to discuss what is realistically achievable.
Yes. Our studio is based in St. Gallen, but we shoot projects throughout Eastern Switzerland, in Zurich, Basel, Bern, and internationally on request.
Yes. If you already have video material, we can review, assess and integrate it into a new production. Sometimes existing footage complements a new production well — sometimes a reshoot is the better solution. We work that out together during the briefing.
Process & Collaboration
What does working together actually look like — from the first idea to the finished file? Everything you need to know before you start.
Our process follows five steps: Briefing → Concept & Script → Production → Post-Production → Delivery. You have one dedicated contact throughout and approve every step before we move forward. The full process is described on our How We Work page.
Yes. We develop concept, storyline and script together with you — from the first briefing to the finished script. You do not need to arrive with a ready-made idea. Our work starts with genuinely understanding your business, your audience and your core message.
We guide you through the preparation: we clarify locations, people, props and schedules together in advance. You receive a clear overview and know exactly what is expected of you on the day. Our goal is for the shoot to run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
The standard package includes revision rounds in the edit. Additional changes can be arranged flexibly. We communicate clearly what is included in the quote — so there are no surprises.
We shoot on RED RAW cinema cameras — the same system used for high-end feature films and international advertising campaigns. For aerial footage, we use professional DJI drones. Depending on the project, this is complemented by professional lighting design and directional audio capture.
Drone Videos & Aerial Footage
Questions about professional drone footage in St. Gallen — permits, use cases and combining with film productions. Full details are on our drone production page.
Yes. We produce professional drone videos in St. Gallen and across Eastern Switzerland. Our DJI drones deliver aerial footage in cinematic quality — for architecture films, corporate images, real estate presentations and events. More information is available on our drone production page.
Drone footage is particularly powerful for businesses that want to showcase their location, scale or surroundings. Typical use cases include architecture and real estate, corporate campuses, hotels and tourism, and events. For brand films where context and environment are part of the story, aerial shots are a strong visual element.
Yes. Commercial drone flights in Switzerland are subject to FOCA regulations. Miro Productions handles all permit management — you do not need to worry about it. Our pilots are certified and fly in compliance with current regulations. Everything legally required for your shoot is included in the production package.
Yes — and we recommend it. The strongest productions combine ground and aerial perspectives. We schedule drone flights directly into the shooting day, so aerial and ground footage integrate seamlessly. This combined approach saves time compared to two separate shooting days.
Formats, Rights & Delivery
What do you receive at the end of the production — and in what format? Answers on versions, usage rights and delivery.
We produce brand films, commercials, testimonial videos, social media reels and drone films. Every format is optimised for its end medium — website, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn or cinema projection.
Yes. We produce platform-specific edits in all relevant aspect ratios — 16:9 for YouTube and web, 9:16 for Instagram Reels and TikTok, 1:1 for feed formats. These versions are planned into the edit from the start, not cropped after the fact.
Upon project completion and full payment, you receive complete usage rights for the agreed purposes. The exact terms — channels, duration and geographic scope — are clearly defined in the contract. Any questions about rights are addressed directly in the quote.
Yes. Post-production includes sound design and music (royalty-free or by arrangement). Subtitles or text overlays are available on request. For social media formats, we generally recommend subtitles, as many videos are watched without sound.
Finished files are delivered in the agreed formats — typically via a secure download link. Master files are archived in high resolution so that future adjustments, new platform versions or language versions do not require a full reshoot.
